    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix converter device that reduces a common mode current flowing in a motor while reducing high-frequency noise to the power-supply side.
      SOLUTION: The matrix converter device includes an input single-phase AC reactor 2, whose one end is connected to each phase of a three-phase AC power supply 1 and whose the other end is connected to the input side of a matrix converter main circuit 5, and a ground capacitor 3 whose one end is connected to the input side of the matrix converter main circuit 5 and whose the other end is grounded. The device also includes an input capacitor 4, whose one end is connected to the other end of the input single-phase AC reactor 2 and whose the other end is star-connected, an output three-phase AC reactor 6, whose one end is serially connected to the output side of the matrix converter main circuit 5, an output three-phase common mode choke coil 7, whose one end is serially connected to each phase of the other end of the output three-phase AC reactor 6 and whose the other end is connected to a load 9, and an output capacitor 8 whose one end is connected to the other end of the output three-phase common mode choke coil 7 and whose the other end is star-connected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control ripple current passing through a neutral wire in a neutral wire connecting-type uninterrupted power supply system where neutral points are mutually connected in an AC to DC/DC to AC conversion device constituted of a PWM rectifier and a PWM inverter. SOLUTION: PWM controllers 11 to 14 of the PWM rectifier 1 generate three carrier signals obtained by shifting carrier phases of a triangular wave carrier signal generator 14 comparing respective phases U, V and W of AC input by 120°. A PWM waveform generator 13 generates a PWM waveform by comparing the carrier signals and sine wave signals of U, V and W phases by individual phase. Thus, a period is eliminated when three phases become ON. The controller of the PWM inverter is set to be the same.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed DC power supply network which conveys only low-level electric noise energy to a load even when at least one switching power supply is included. SOLUTION: This distributed DC power supply network contains at least one switching power supply connected to at least one load connected to a system ground. To decrease high-frequency wave switching noise propagation from the switching power supply to the load, a DC/DC converter wafts over a system ground. A low-pass filter may be inserted between the switching power supply and the DC/DC converter, and/or between the DC/DC converter and the load. The extra aspect of this power supply network is that an AC impedance difference is made between the system ground and earth ground to further decrease the level of noise which is propagated to the load.
