SOLUTION: This grease composition is characterized by comprising a base oil, a thickener, and a zinc compound (preferably selected from a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate, a zinc dialkyldithiocarbamate and zinc oxide) in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mass % based on the total amount of the grease. And the grease-sealed rolling bearing is characterized by rotatably holding rolling elements with holders between an inner wheel and an outer wheel, filling the grease composition, and sealing the filled grease composition with seal members.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition for transmissions having saved fuel consumption performances and sufficient durability of gears, bearings, etc., in combination and excellent low-temperature viscosity and oxidation stability. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition for the transmissions comprises (D) an extreme pressure agent composed of a phosphorus extreme pressure agent and a sulfur extreme pressure agent and/or a phosphorus-sulfur extreme pressure agent in an amount of 0.05-2 mass% based on the total amount of the composition in a lubricating base oil composed of (A) a lubricating base oil having 1.5-5 mm 2 /s kinematic viscosity at 100°C and prepared by regulating %C N to 10-60 and %C A to ≤1 in an amount of 60-94 mass% based on the total amount of the base oil, (B) a mineral oil lubricating base oil having 10-50 mm 2 /s kinematic viscosity at 100°C and 0.3-1 mass% of sulfur content in an amount of 5-25 mass% based on the total amount of the base oil and (C) a synthetic oil having 2,000-20,000 number-average molecular weight and composed of carbon and hydrogen in an amount of 1-15 mass% based on the total amount of the base oil. The lubricating oil composition is characterized as follows. The phosphorus content (P) in the composition is 0.01-0.05 mass% and the total sulfur content (S) is 0.05-0.3 mass%. SOLUTION: The seal compatibility of the lubricating oil composition comprising a nitrogen-containing dispersant is improved by using, in combination with the dispersant, a modified detergent including a reaction product of (i) an overbased oil-soluble detergent containing a hydrocarbyl phenate, carboxylate or sulfonate of alkaline metal or alkaline earth metal and (ii) an α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compound. The modified detergent provides the lubricating oil composition exhibiting, when used in combination with a nitrogen-containing dispersant, improved seal compatibility without reduced dispersion or detergency characteristics. SOLUTION: The roller bearing comprises: an outer race having an outer race orbit on an inner peripheral surface; an inner race having an inner race orbit on an outer peripheral surface; a plurality of rolling elements rotatably provided between the outer race orbit and the inner race orbit; a retainer for rotatably retaining the plurality of the elements; and a grease sealed in a bearing space between the outer race orbit and the inner race orbit. In this bearing, the grease is formed by blending a metal soap densifier containing a long fiber- like material having a fiber length of at least 3 μm, with a base oil obtained by mixing a polar group-containing lubricating oil having a polar group in a molecular structure with a nonpolar lubricating oil, and the grease is sealed so as to become 35 to 60 vol.% of the bearing space.
