摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a porous glass having excellent strength, heat resistance, etc., suitable to carrier for fixing enzyme by using CaO, TiO2, P2O5 and Na2O as materials, and dipping crystallized glass manufactured therefrom with the specific manufacturing method into acid to make the glass porous. CONSTITUTION:The CaO, TiO2, P2O5 and Na2O are mixed at 45:25:30:2 in mol ratio. Successively, the mixed material is fused at 1300-1400 deg.C and after cooling, crystal nuclei are formed at 650-750 deg.C and further, the crystal nuclei are grown at 730-780 deg.C to manufacture the crystallized glass. Successively, this crystallized glass is dipped into an acid, and by making said glass, the objective porous body having excellent alkali resistance is manufactured. Then, this porous body is used as the carrier for fixing enzyme and the enzyme is combined to execute fixing enzyme reaction. By using this carrier as the carrier for bioreactor, scale up of apparatus is facilitated, and the heat-sterizable and reusable carrier can be obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a porous glass material having improved separation characteristics, permeability, etc., by bonding plural kinds of ion exchange groups to a porous silicate glass material prepared by a phase separation- extraction method. CONSTITUTION:A glass material containing SiO2-B2O3-Na2O as an essential component is heated to separate into plural phases, and the separated phase is treated by an elution method, etc., to prepare a porous silicate glass material. The glass material is treated with a silane coupling agent (e.g. a compound of formula I or II) which reacts with silanol groups existing on the glass material and which has an ion exchange group, thereby bonding two kinds or more of the ion exchange groups to the glass material. The embodiments of the ion exchange groups include sulfonic acid group, carboxylic acid group and quaternary ammonium salt group. The prepared porous glass material is suitably used for ultrafiltration, gas separation, the carrier of membrane reactors, etc.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a glass material containing crystalline phase at a lower heating temperature by making a gel material to a porous material with removing an organic polymeric compound in the gel material and treating with steam in producing the glass material in a sol-gel method. CONSTITUTION:A gel material is formed from a solution containing a hydrolyzable organometallic compound and an organic polymeric compound. Next, the organic polymeric compound compound in the gel material is decomposed and burned by heating the gel material or is dissolved in an organic solvent and eluted to make the gel material a porous material in which many continuous fine pores are formed. Thereafter, the porous material is treated with steam to give a glass material containing crystals of metal oxide. Thereby, a coating film can be formed on a base plate having low heat resistance as heating temperature is relatively low.
