    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an automatic developing machine and a processing method for a silver halide photographic sensitive material by which the processing stability of bleaching liquid is improved, to put it concretely, the bleaching liquid is not deposited to a processing tank and the like and it is not deteriorated caused by contamination firstly, bleaching performance becomes excellent and processing can be quickly executed secondly, fogging density is reduced and irregularity is prevented from occurring thirdly and the automatic developing machine can be made compact lastly. SOLUTION: This automatic developing machine for a silver halide photographic sensitive material is provided with at least three processes being the developing process, the bleaching process and the fixing process. Besides, it is provided with a process that the bleaching liquid C is applied. Then, the film surface pH of the photosensitive material P is >=7.0 before it arrives at the applying process and the weight thereof is decreased to 3.0 to 150 g/m after it is dried.
