摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a hermetical structure for a boiler which is free from heat deterioration and leakage of exhaust gas, by constituting the hermetical structure of the boiler by disposing a burner in contact with a combustion barrel in a heat exchanging cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A water-boiler of this invention comprises a casing 1, a heat exchanging cylinder 2 having a closed end extended into the casing 1, and a combustion barrel 3 opened at both ends thereof and also extended into the heat exchanging cylinder 2. Exhaust gas passages 4 are formed between the inner surface of the cylinder 2 and the outer surface of the barrel 3, and the other end of the barrel 3 is located inwards of the other end of the cylinder 2. Further, the gap between the cylinder 2 and the barrel 3 is closed hermetically, and a burner 6 inserted into the cylinder 2 from said other end of the same is brought into contact with the other end of the combustion barrel 3. A first hermetical structure can be obtained at the section where the burner 6 is held in contact with the combustion barrel 3. Further, since the burner 6 is also held in contact with the cylinder 2 by the intermediary of a packing 5, a second hermetical structure can be obtained at the section. Thus, it is enabled to eliminate leakage of exhaust gas from said other end of the cylinder 2.
