    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing boring construction method which is suitable for survey/observation of soft ground with poor self-supporting property and also can accurately understand characteristics of groundwater, and an inexpensive casing boring device for performing this construction method.
      SOLUTION: The casing boring device includes a tubular transparent casing 5 in which inner diameter lower end section is defined as an incline 5a expanding towards lower end and bottom edge section to be a sharp angle, a loading means 20 for allowing the transparent casing 5 to penetrate into ground by applying static load downwards in the axial direction, an unloading means 30 for suction of the drilled ground to be withdrawn from the transparent casing 5, imaging equipment 40 for imaging any target area to be surveyed through the transparent casing, and liquid fill means 50 for infusing liquid S for observation into the target area to be surveyed.
