CONSTITUTION:When unidirectional copying is started along an X axis from a point E in a situation wherein areas enclosed by single-dot chain lines are assigned to the regions of deceleration A-D, a control device reads the counted values given a reversible counter, compares Y coordinates Y1, Y2 and Y3 that have been stored in the region corresponding to the region of deceleration A, and evaluates and stores a Y axis coordinate larger than the counted value and nearest to the value and a Y axis coordinate smaller than the counted value and nearest to the value. Then the X and Z axes coordinates of points F1 and F2 are evaluated to decide the regions of deceleration by reading the X and Z coordinates of stored points A1, A1', A2, A2' and by interpolating them taking said Y axis as a standard.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of quick return from the end point of a profiling route to its starting point, by storing the maximum value of present position in the profiling route and by causing the quick return to a position corresponding to the sum of the maximum value and a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:The maximum heights Zma, Zmb of the surface of a medel MDL on profiling routes A, B extending from the starting point of profiling to its end point are stored. Quick return in the direction of an axis Z is effected to points of Zma+alpha, Zmb+alpha to perform return from the ending point to the starting point to shorten an unnecessarily long return route. Explaining with a block diagram, the outputs of position detectors PCX-PCZ are irreversibly counted at CUNT to indicate a present position. Supposing that a profiling direction is expressed by X and approach is expressed by Z, a servomotor MZ is driven depending on the displacement of a stylus ST to machine a workpiece W along the model MDL by a cutter CT. A processor CPU stores the maximum value of a counter CUNTZ in a register A.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain more accurate digitizing data in a tracer control system for making tracer measurement of the form of a model surface. CONSTITUTION:A position detecting means 3 detects the position of a tracer head 1 when the tracer head 1 profiles a model 2 surface and profile data storing means 5 stores a detected position and a displacing amount at a specified cycle when a displacing amount detecting means 4 detects the displacing amount of a stylus 1a provided on the tracer head 1. A position increase calculating means 6 detects the position and displacing amount of each shaft on a plane at each specified cycle, corrects an increased amount from a positional value detected at the previous time by means of the displacing amount and calculates it as a position increase amount. A transfer vector value calculating means 7 calculates the transfer vector value of the previous transfer region based on the calculated position increase amount and a shaft transfer control means 8 controls the shaft movement of the tracer head 1 with the calculated transfer vector value as a profile direction in a current transfer region.
