    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin having superior light resistance, transparency, hue, heat resistance, thermal stability and mechanical strength.SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition includes a polycarbonate resin containing at least a structural unit derived from a dihydroxy compound having, as a part of the structure thereof, a moiety represented by general formula (1), however, the moiety represented by general formula (1) is not a part of -CH-O-H. The polycarbonate resin composition is characterized in that, when a molded article (having a thickness of 3 mm) formed of the polycarbonate resin composition is subjected to 1,200 hours of an exposure treatment in accordance with JIS B7753, in an environment of a black panel temperature of 63°C, 50% relative humidity and 12 minutes of rain spray time per one hour, using a sunshine carbon arc lamp at 50 V discharge voltage and 60 A discharge current through a type A glass filter, the molded article after the treatment shows a haze of not more than 12 in accordance with JIS K7105.
