摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a superelastic spring having a shape memory by applying a deformation of the quantity added with the spring back quantity by superelasticity with respect to a desired finish shape to a shape memory alloy in a temp. region above the Ms point and below the Md point, heating the same up to beta phase temp. and cooling it down to temp. below the Md point. CONSTITUTION:A blank material consisting of a shape memory alloy is heated to a temp. region above the Ms point and below the Md point and is formed to a prescribed shape. At this time, the prescribed shape is set by allowing for spring back by superelasticity, and is the one added with spring back quantity with respect to a desired finish shape. The blank material formed to a desired shape is heated up to a beta phase temp. region and is held for 15-30min, whereby it is converted to beta phase. Following to this, it is cooled down to temp. below the Md point.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a reflecting mirror having superior corrosion resistance by providing the reflective aluminum layer and a light-transmissive inorganic oxide layer, whose pores are sealed with the carboxylate of iron-group metal, on a base made of specific metal. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of a base 11 made of a metallic material having an ionization potential equal to that of aluminum, a smoothing layer 12 for smoothing the surface of the base 11 is provided at need. This smoothing layer 12 is formed by applying and hardening or baking an inorganic material paint. The surface of the base 11 or smoothing layer 12 if necessary is coated under vacuum with an aluminum layer 13 constituting a reflective layer. On the surface of the reflective layer 13, a light-transmissive inorganic oxide layer 14 is formed by vacuum coating. Since the protective layer 14 is porous, its pores are sealed with a sealing agent consisting of the carboxylate of ion-group metal having a low valence to obtain a reflecting layer 10.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify manufacturing process by forming material into continuous spring unit form, in manfucturing long material for leaf spring, and incorporating different kind of spring unit so that the continuous length of the unit corresponds to the length of the material. CONSTITUTION:The material such as ingot is heated and rolled. In this rolling process, the material for leaf spring having the conventional and fixed form of section is obtained, and also the rolling process corresponding to the form of spring unit is performed. The latter rolling process means the rolling process for taper- rolling of 5b and 6b shown on the long material 4. Through this process, the long material for leaf spring which consists of the continuation of a variety of spring unit forms 5-7 can be obtained. In the material 5a of each spring unit 5, 6 is the circular impeller eye part, 5c is the installation part, 6a is the impeller eye part in elliptic form or military form, and 6c is the installation part in the final stage.

CONSTITUTION:An elongated sprip 3 for springs is formed of continually disposed units a1, b1, c1 corresponding respectively to No.1 leaf (a), No.2 leaf (b), and No.3 leaf (c). Portions a11, a12, a13, b11, b12, b13, c11 and c12 are so formed as to constitute a circular end portion, tapered portion, attachment portion, end portion of an ellipse or bugle shape, a tapered portion, attachment portion, tapered portion, and attachment portion respectively. Said strip 3 is cut into units a1, b1 and c1, heated, formed with circular end portions, hardened, and assembled into a juxtaposed leaf spring assembly. In the above way, it is possible to simplify the manufacturing process of leaf spring units and the storage of their parts and also to reduce accidental shortage of stored parts. It is sufficient to use a single line of manufacturing facilities, thereby facilitating maintenance work and unifying the quality of products.
