    • PURPOSE:To obtain a compact vibration controller of a simple structure by providing a piezoelectric ceramic actuator having a control force producing face fixed to an object body together with an additional weight fixed to another face opposite to said object body. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric ceramic actuator 16 has an additional weight 5 having the prescribed weight fixed at the upper part with its lower end part fixed to a casing 15. This casing 15 is fixed to an object body 1 that undergoes the control of vibrations. An accelerometer 3 attached to the object body 1 detects the vibrations of the body 1 and an actuator impressing voltage controller 4 controls the voltage impressed to a piezoelectric ceramic actuator 14 based on the detected vibrations of the body 1. This impressed voltage produces the control force to the actuator 16 and this control force is transmitted to the body 1 by the force of inertia of the weight 5. Thus the vibrations of the body 1 are reduced effectively and the control properties of the body 1 can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To effectively reduce the vibration of a vehicle body, by predicting the vibration mode of a vehicle body in accordance with the rotational speed of an engine and the weight of the vehicle body, and by controlling an actuator for applying damping force to the vehicle body in accordance with the result. CONSTITUTION:An engine rotational speed detecting circuit 8 is connected to an engine ignition pulse terminal 7, and a control circuit 9 in a control section 18 obtains a waveform having an amplitude and a phase which correspond to the engine rotational speed detected by the circuit 8. This waveform is compensated in accordance with the weight of a vehicle body detected by a weight detecting circuit 13 connected to a strain gage weight detector 12, and is then amplified by a power amplifier circuit 10, and thereafter is delivered to an actuator 6 which is constituted such that electromagnetic force that is generated when a coil 63 is energized, is transmitted to a casing 68 fixed to the vehicle body through a coil support 64. Thus, it is possible to aim at cancelling out torque variations caused by the rotation of the engine 1 with the use of the force from the actuator 6 to reduce the vibration of the vehicle body 4.

    • PURPOSE:To improve a feeling of driving comfortableness and durability in a controller, by driving an actuator with a detecting signal out of a vibration detector, while detecting a driving state, and interconnecting an empty space, where an elastic body exists, to an engine negative pressure part at the time of driving but selecting it to a positive pressure part at the time of stoppage. CONSTITUTION:An engine is discriminated as it is at idling or driving by an engine speed detector while a three-way valve is selected to where it should be, and a negative pressure port 25 is interconnected to a suction pipe at the time of driving and to a positive pressure part at the time of idling, respectively. At driving, an empty space 35 is made to come into suction pressure whereby a pressure differential between these spaces 35 and 36 grow large, pushing up a pressing device 23, and thereby a movable mass body 9 is locked thereto. On the other hand, at idling, the space 35 is interconnected to the positive pressure part, making the pressure differential between these spaces 35 and 36 dwindle away to nothing, whereby the pressing device 23 is pushed up and the body 9 is opened free, thereby making an actuator 6 come into a state of being operated. And, since the body 9 comes to a stationary state at the time of driving, any impact to a casing 18 due to vibrations in the body 9 and disturbance is avoided, thus no noise happens and service life is prolonged.

CONSTITUTION:Vibrational characteristics of a vehicle body 4 include the natural frequency at which the vehicle body vibrates as a whole in an elastic mode relating to the bending deformation as shown by the dotted line. An actuator 6 is installed to the front part, for example, of the said vehicle body 4, while a vibration sensor 7, which detects vibrational acceleration, is attached nearby. The actuator 6 is driven and controlled via a control circuit 8, according to the output signal from the vibration sensor 7. The control circuit 8 is constituted in such a manner that it is provided with integrators 82a, 82b, and 82c, which convert the vibrational acceleration into both vibrational velocity and vibrational displacement, and it controls the actuator 6, according to the signal, which is formed by adding each signal of vibrational acceleration, vibrational speed, and vibrational displacement, all of which have passed the high-pass, band-pass and low pass filters 82d, 82e, and 82f.
