    • PURPOSE:To execute an automatic correction against the variation of a welding current by offsetting the variation of a control signal A of an input of a welding current value corresponding to the variation of a control signal B by the input of a welding wire feeding motor applied voltage, by the signal B, and holding a differential control signal at a roughly prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A welding current I is varied almost linearly against the variation of a wire feeding motor applied voltage EM, therefore, a differential control signal IID based on a difference signal of both of them offsets the variation of the current I by the variation of the voltage EM and holds the roughly prescribed value. As a result, said signal IID becomes the quantity which is varied only the variation of a wire projecting length. Accordingly, it scan be utilized effectively as a control signal source for detecting the state of an arc extending over a wide welding current range with the high accuracy. According to the welding control method of this invention, an automatic correction against the variation of the welding current can be executed, and the excellent operability is displayed. In this regard, in the figure, 1, 2, 3, and 4 denote a material to be welded, a welding torch, a welding wire, and a wire feeding motor, etc., respectively.

CONSTITUTION:A figure (d) shows a left side ID sample value ID.L102a and right side sample value ID.R101a brought to sampling by weaving left/right end strobe signals PL, PR against the instantaneous value of a differential control signal ID which is varied in the shape of a wave of a welding arc. Also, a figure (f) shows differential outputs (ID.R-LD.L) of a right side ID sample side ID sample value ID.R and a left side ID sample value ID.L brought to sampling in a figure (a), respectively. This differential output becomes a value corresponding to the quantity of the relative shift of a weld joint center line and the weaving center line of the welding arc, therefore, by discriminating or amplifying it, a Y axis direction servomechanism 107 is driven. As a result, the signal ID holds a prescribed value, almost irrespective of a welding current value, varied only by the variation of the projecting quantity of a wire, and the adjusting operation is simplified.
