    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water supply apparatus, in which a high degree of freedom is ensured in the installation place of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a water heater 1, a CO sensor controller 5, a communication part 4 and a communication unit 2. The controller 5 detects CO and issues signals corresponding to the CO concentration. The communication part 4 converts signals corresponding to the CO concentration to radio signals and outputs them. The unit 2 converts the radio signals to cable signals and outputs them. A radio CO-sensor 3 is composed of the CO- sensor controller 5 and the communication part 4. The radio CO sensor 3 transmits through the communication unit 2 radio signals corresponding to the detected CO-concentration to the water heater 1. Thus, the water heater 1 has an increased degree of freedom in the installation without regard to the position of the CO sensor. In the similar manner, signals for a gas concentration detected by a radio gas-leakage sensor and remotely operated signals can be transmitted to the water heater 1 though the communication unit 2.

In case that the quantity-of-water sensor 2 is not detecting the flow of water supply by the combustion deciding means 11, when the temperature of the hot-water flow sensor 4 goes down under a certain temperature, the combustion of the burner 9 is started, and when it goes higher than a certain temperature, the burner 9 is stopped.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain the supply of dangerous high-temperature hot-water from a hot-water supplying cock and prevent scald by a method wherein a deciding value, determined by the length of the posing time of heating operation, is provided and when the posing time is shorter than the deciding value, heating operation by a burner is delayed by a necessary time to prevent overheating after 'after boiling' even when a water amount sensor has detected the restarting of the supply of hot-water through the opening operation of the hot-water supplying cock. CONSTITUTION:The title hot-water supplier is provided with a heat exchanger 1, a water amount detector 4, detecting the flow rate of water when a hot-water supplying cock Q is operated, a hot-water temperature setter 6, setting a hot-water outlet temperature, a supplying water thermistor, detecting the temperature of supplying water, an outlet hot-water thermistor 3, detecting the hot-water outlet temperature, and a timer 8, counting a time from the opening operation of a hot-water supplying cock Q to the restarting of the opening operation of the cock Q.
