    • PURPOSE:To provide a metal halide lamp excellent in luminous efficiency. CONSTITUTION:Since a heat reflecting film forming composition includes at least inorganic indium salt, organic tin salt, and an organic compound configurative to either of indium and tin, and heat reflecting films 8 and 9 are transparent conductive films and have electricity conductivity; consequently the reduction of the starting voltage of a metal halide lamp 1 can be realized. The unnecessary portion of the heat reflecting film is provided with a process for applying masking resin, that for hardening it, that for applying the heat reflecting film forming composition, and that for heat-treating. Luminous efficiency can be excellent because the errosion, etc., of a conductor, due to the heat reflecting film forming composition, is prevented by applying the masking resin to the unnecessary portion of the heat reflecting film to be hardened; the characteristic of a heat reflecting film, obtained after heat-treatment is good with uniform coating made on the outer surface of a luminous tube by using a dip-coating method or a spin coating method in applying the heat reflecting film forming composition; and the heat reflecting film is formed on only a necessary portion.

    • PURPOSE:To transfer the pattern transferred to a transfer body to an object to be printed with good reproducibility and high efficiency by mounting a waterless planographic printing plate, an ink coating means and the transfer body and providing a silicone rubber layer to at least the surface of the transfer body. CONSTITUTION:Silicon rubber is used in the ink repelling layer of a waterless planographic printing plate 4 and has a property repelling ink. Therefore, when a transfer body 2 having a silicone rubber layer is used in offset printing using the waterless planographic printing plate 4, the transfer efficiency of the ink on the pattern of the waterless planographic printing plate is low as compared with a case using a conventional transfer body having an NBR layer. However, the transfer efficiency of the ink transferred to the transfer body 2 to an object 5 to be printed is markedly high as compared with a case using the transfer body having the NBR layer. As a result, the transfer efficiency of the ink on the pattern of the waterless planographic printing place 4 to the object 5 to be printed becomes high and printing efficiency is enhanced.
