    • PURPOSE:To obtain a distributor having high acid-proof performance and contamination-proof performance, and causing no degradation of insulation, by adding a carbon fluoride series surfactant. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic or thermosetting resin having good insulation performance is employed as the material for a cap 1. Said resin and reinforcing material are agitated through a high speed mixer, and a carbon fluoride surfactant is added to them under fused condition. Here, the carbon fluoride surfactant is a compound containing fluorine and carbon, produced by substituting hydrophobic group hydrogen atom in hydrocarbon surfactant entirely or partially with fluorine atom. Consequently, wetting performance between resin and reinforcing material is improved, thereby contact tightness or bonding force is increased. Thereafter, it is pelletized by means of an extruder and injection molded. Thus produced mold has a low surface tension, high medicine resistance and heat resistance and improved ozone resistance and contamination resistance.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the dimensional stability and molding ability of a distributor cap having an electrically insulating wall in which high voltage connecting terminals are embedded, by forming the insulator with the use of thermoplastic resin having a satisfactory flame resistant capability and a reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:A cap for a distributor is composed of an electrically insulating wall, and at least one or two high voltage connecting terminals belonging to an ignition device for an internal combustion engine and embedded in the above- mentioned wall. In such a cap, the insulator is formed of thermoplastic resin having a satisfactory flame resistant capability and a reinforcing member. As to the flame resistant thermoplastic resin, polybutylene-terephtalate is used, and as the reinforcing member, glass fibers and talc are used. Further, there may be used glass fibers and silicon, or glass fibers and a mixture of talc and silicon dioxide for the reinforcing member.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the residual potential characteristics and to obtain high sensitivity by forming a layer contg. phthalocyanine pigment as a charge generating substance and a layer contg. a mixture of an electron donative substance with an electron accepting substance as a charge transferring substance on an electric conductor layer and carrying out specified charging and exposure processes. CONSTITUTION:Nonmetallic or metallic phthalocyanine pigment is stuck to an electric conductor layer by coating, vapor deposition or other method, or it is dispersed in a high molecular compound to form a charge generating layer on the conductor layer. A charge transferring layer contg. an electron donative substance such as a high molecular compound contg. a carbazole ring or an anthracene ring and an electron accepting substance such as nitrofluorenones or a benzoquinone compound is then formed on said charge generating layer to manufacture an electrophotographic plate. The surface of this plate is positively light of 500-800nm to erase the surface charges. Thus, an electrophotographic plate with high sensitivity and favorable repeating characteristics and a record are obtd.
