    • PURPOSE:To endure a surface lubricating ability by applying the mixed liquid of the thermosetting resin and a material not related to a hardening reaction onto a protecting film, baking it under an optimum temperature, and impregnating a lubricant having a reactive group to the hole extracted the material not related to hardening. CONSTITUTION:A paint film mixed a material not related to the thermosetting reaction, for example, a paraffin with a thermosetting resin, for example, an epoxy resin is baked under the temperature of not more than that which becomes a complete hardening. Next, by using a solvent, the paraffin is removed and a resin film 7 having a reactive group and forming a bore 6 on the surface is obtained. Continuously, after a lubricant 8 having the reactive group is applied and impregnated, the reaction is executed at the temperature in which the resin is completely hardened, both are bonded and a second protecting film 5 is obtained. By the constitution like this, the scattering of the lubricant of the second protecting film 5 for head crash is prevented, and the endurance of the lubricant of the surface can be executed.

    • PURPOSE:To thinly form a perpendicularly oriented magnetic Ba film by discharging a magnetic coating compd. from the inside circumferential part to the outside circumferential part of a disk substrate to coat said compd. on the substrate while changing the rotating speed of the substrate continuously in such a manner that the specified linear circumferential speed is maintained in the position of a nozzle port for discharging the magnetic coating compd., thereby forming the magnetic film. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic coating compd. is dropped always at the specified linear circumferential speed by shifting the dropping position of the magnetic coating compd. gradually from the inside circumferential part to the outside circumferential part and changing the linear circumferential speed gradually according to the dropping position. Namely, the rotating speed of the substrate is gradually lowered as the dropping positions shifts from the inside circumferential part to the outside circumferential part. The formation of the coated film is, therefore, executed while the outside edge part of the coated film which is previously half cured by the solvent of the coating compd. dropped afterward. The film thickness is thereby reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To detect an unstrained waveform by spin-coating a magnetic paint consisting essentially of Ba ferrite magnetic powder on a nonmagnetic substrate, alternately applying a vertical magnetic field and a horizontal magnetic field while rotating the substrate at low speed to orient the magnetic powder and then drying the paint while applying a horizontal magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:Since Ba ferrite is a hexagonal plate crystal and can be easily oriented in the vertical direction by spin coating, the spin coating is carried out at low speed by lowering the viscosity of a magnetic paint or vertical orientation is prevented to the utmost by increasing the viscosity. After coating, a vertical magnetic field and a horizontal magnetic field are alternately applied while the coated film is not dried to prevent the cohesion of Ba ferrite particles and to facilitate the movement of particles by dispersion, then a horizontal magnetic field is applied to horizontally orient dispersed particles, the film is dried under such conditions and a magnetic film wherein BA ferrite is horizontally oriented can be formed.
