摘要： PURPOSE: To provide an order system capable of judging whether waiting time exists or not or cancel is possible or not by enabling a customer to grasp the processing state of an ordered item. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 31 in a center computer 30 transmits contents (the start or completion of cooking) inputted from a kitchen terminal 40 to an ordering terminal being an ordering source of an item. The ordering terminal displays the contents on its CRT. When the contents transmitted from the computer 30 indicate the start of cooking, a CPU in the ordering terminal displays a message indiating the impossibility of canceling the item of which cooking has been started on the CRT. Thus a customer can know the processing state of his (or her) own ordered item.

The polling control part 11 of the center 3 modulates a polling signal into a signal of a specific channel and sends the KARAOKE terminal devices 5 through a polling modem 13 and receives response signals (signals indicating whether or not music is requested) sent from the KARAOKE devices 5 in response to the polling signal. When music is requested, a data transmission control part 15 reads the KARAOKE data on the requested music out of a storage device 19, modulates the data into an AC signal of a channel different from the channel of said polling signal, and sends the signal to the KARAOKE terminal device 5 through a data transmitting model 17.

SOLUTION: Data 70 is read from a storage device 50 connected to a transmission-side earth station 10 and data 70 is divided by a division device 11. An error detection code addition device 13 generates and adds an error detection code to divided data and new divided data is generated. Divided data modulated in different frequencies in a modulation device 17 are transmitted by the communication routes 41-44 as the different communication routes by using the four different satellites 31-34. When the errors exist, respective divided data corrected by a correction device 27 are restored by data 70 by a restoration device 29. Then, data is stored in a storage device 60 connected to a reception- side earth station 20.
