    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device array system by which configuration is easily executed without requiring the synchronous operation of a storage device such as a hard disk drive(HDD) and the parallel number of the storage devices is freely selected. SOLUTION: The array system 1 is provided with plural data storage devices 101 storing data by a distribution and an error correction arithmetic part 106 executing error correcting calculation between data blocks which are stored by the distribution. The error correction arithmetic part 106 executes intermediate operation through the use of the ones being a part of the read and written data blocks, stores the arithmetic result in an error correction temporary storing means 108, executes operation between the stored intermediate arithmetic result and the succeeding data block or error correcting data and sequentially executes a processing for writing the result back in the error correction temporary storage means 108 plurally so as to correct an error in data or generate data for correcting the error.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely execute data communication and to reduce probability that data is stolen by transmitting divided data by different communication routes through different satellites and correcting errors when they exist in received and divided data and connecting divided data so as to restore them. SOLUTION: Data 70 is read from a storage device 50 connected to a transmission-side earth station 10 and data 70 is divided by a division device 11. An error detection code addition device 13 generates and adds an error detection code to divided data and new divided data is generated. Divided data modulated in different frequencies in a modulation device 17 are transmitted by the communication routes 41-44 as the different communication routes by using the four different satellites 31-34. When the errors exist, respective divided data corrected by a correction device 27 are restored by data 70 by a restoration device 29. Then, data is stored in a storage device 60 connected to a reception- side earth station 20.
