In a route retrieving part 9, when respective pieces of position information about a starting place or a present position and the designation are held, a route is retrieved, and the optimum route up to the destination is set. Further, a distance detecting part, a rudder detecting part, etc., to trace a traveling present position, are positioned under the processing part 5, the pieces of information of these detecting parts are processed, and route data are generated in the processing part 5, and route guidance informa tion is outputted through a display part 1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a starter from rupture by a method wherein, in a device which starts an engine and an automatic speed change gear by means of an engine starter, the rotation state of an automatic speed change gear is detected, based on a detecting result therefrom, an engine starting action is rendered ineffective by means of a starter. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 3 is turned ON, an armature shaft 7 of a starter 6 is rotated, a pinion 10 is moved in the direction of an arrow mark 23 as it is rotated. Through engagement of the pinion 10 with a ring gear 2, an engine is cranked. When, through running of the engine 1, an automatic speed change gear 5a is started to rotated, a line pressure 13 is generated to move forward a shaft part 16b of a piston 16 of a hydraulic actuator 22 to an actuating position 16A, and when the movement is detected by means of a sensor 20, a display lamp 21 is lighted ON. Even when, with this state, an ignition switch 3 is erroneously switched ON, since the piston shaft part 16b is moved forward to an actuating position 16A, movement of the pinion 10 is blocked.

CONSTITUTION:An intersection map is composed of a net of roads plotting area 1 and function drawing area 2 and the surrounding net of roads and marks of gas stations GS are plotted around the starting intersection in the area 1. Names of intersections 3, messages 4s, and touch keys 5 are shown in the area 2. The keys 5 are composed of a turn key instructing turning of the map, OK key for confirming the turning angle of the map displaying direction, etc. Therefore, when the turn key is touched, the intersection map can be turned so that the advancing road, namely, the road underneath the vehicle can be drawn in the lower section of the map. When the OK key is touched, the advancing direction of the vehicle can be drawn. Therefore, the marks, advancing direction, and relative positional relation plotted on the intersection map can be recognized easily and erroneous recognition can be prevented.
