    • PURPOSE:To make sufficiently certain control on a gas burning device, etc., not only under a normal condition, but also under a transient condition, by calculating a control data value estimating the condition of the device at the time of actual controlling operations from already obtained sampling data and using the control data value to the control of the next step. CONSTITUTION:Data collected at each sampling time are not used for the con trol of the next step as they are, but, as shown by the following formula, the control of the next step is executed by utilizing a control data value D obtained from the current sampling and data obtained before the current sampling: D=Dt +A1(Dt-Dt-1)+-+An(Dt-n-Dt--(n+1) ). The (n) of the above formula is an integer larger than '1' and the A1, A2...An are constants peculiar to the data. Under a normal condition where the value of sampling data does not change, Dt=Dt-1=.... Therefore, the same control as conventional ones is apparently performed. However, under a transient condition where the value changes, the above-mentioned control data value D varies and control estimating the condition when actual controlling operations are made is performed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a instantaneous water heater with favorable hot water delivery characteristics at low cost by a method wherein the set capacity of a gas burner is corrected based upon the temperature measured by a temperature detector provided in a water passage located in the midway of a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detector 23 is provided on a water passage 24 located in the midway of a heat exchanger 1. A correcting means 23 calculates the size number Wo based upon the temperature measured after a certain period of time since the start of hot water delivery by the temperature detector 23 so as to substitute the calculated value Wo for the set capacity W and controls a water control valve 9 so as to establish the control water amount Q0. Because the water amount is controlled thenceforth based upon the calculated indication number, the temperature of delivery hot water can be controlled accurately in spite of the occurrence of the fluctuation of inputs or the like. Further, because the temperature detector 23 is located in the midway of the heat exchanger 1, the time required for correction can be shortened, resulting in enabling to deliver the hot water with the set temperature in a very short time.

    • PURPOSE:To permit to detect abnormality such as faulty parts, disconnection or the like by a method wherein monitoring whether the abnornality is generated in the control circuit is effected during a stationary operation after finishing pre-check. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring circuit 3 receives the output signal of an oscillating circuit 2 and outputs a monitoring signal, consisting of a high value signal of constant frequency and constant pulse width from terminals (1), (3). In a flame detecting circuit 4, a P channel FET41 is intercepted when the terminal 1 is low value while an N channel FET42 is conducted under a condition that the flame is not detected but is intercepted under a condition that the flame is detected. On the other hand, the channels FET41, FET42 are conducted when the terminal (1) is high value and the same condition as the condition that the flame is not detected is produced. In case the control circuit 1 is normal, the normal signal of a predetermined level is outputted to the base of a transistor 5 to intercept the circuit 1. According to this interception, the voltage of the transistor 5 becomes a high value and a normality detecting signal is inputted into the terminal (2) of the circuit 3. Existence of the abnormality in the circuit may be decided by deciding the existence of the normality detecting signal through a deciding circuit 31.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction by forming a multiprocessor outputting a code signal and a control signal on the receiving side of a body to be controlled such as a corresponding boiler to the transmission side of a controller and inputting a response signal from the corresponding body to be controlled to output a check signal. CONSTITUTION:The multiprocessor 1 on the remote controller side outputs a code signal obtained by converting a code into a signal at the transmission and a control signal in parallel, a serial/parallel convertion circuit 2 rearranges these signals serially with time division so that a command signal is outputted successively to the code signal and a MODEM3 modulates these signals into prescribed transmission/reception signals such as electromagnetic waves and optical waves to transmit the signals. The multiprocessor 1 on the body to be controled side receives these signals, a MODEM3 demodulates the received signals and a serial/ parallel conversion circuit 2 inputs the code signal and the control signal to the multiprocessor 1 in parallel. The multiprocessor 1 discriminates the code signal, decides whether the code signal corresponds to the boiler or not, and when the signal corresponds to the boiler, generates a response signal to the remote controller side.
