    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution information acquisition method and the like by which a mobile terminal can achieve power saving by turning on a power source of a wireless LAN interface only when distribution information from an application server is generated.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal records connection history in which a base station position information of a wireless WAN and access point connection information of a wireless LAN are corresponded to each other. First of all, a push server transmits a call message to the mobile terminal via the wireless WAN. The mobile terminal acquires the base station position information of the wireless WAN, and searches the access point connection information corresponding to the base station position information using the connection history. Then, the mobile terminal turns on a power source of the wireless LAN interface to receive distribution information from an application server via an access point of the wireless LAN. Finally, the mobile terminal turns off the power source of the wireless LAN interface.

In the broadcasting wave, a sneak of radio wave is improved rather than the carrier for speech, so that the mobile terminal can also receive the information regarding call origination by the broadcasting wave receiving section even in the state where transmission/reception can not be performed by the carrier for speech.
