    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the oscillator small-sized while preventing the influence of interference by providing sets of components of local oscillators on the top and reverse of a multi-layered substrate and incorporating surface earth patterns corresponding to the local oscillators in the multi-layered substrate. SOLUTION: Dielectric layers of the multi-layered substrate and a conductor pattern between them are arranged and via holes for electrically connecting the conductor pattern is arranged penetrating the dielectric layers. On the top side of the multi-layered substrate, the respective components of the 1st oscillator are mounted and on the reverse side, the components of the 2nd local oscillator are mounted. The respective components of a VCO 12, a low-pass filter 11, and a PLL 10 are mounted on the top surface of the multi-layered substrate and a pattern and a via hole regarding the connections, etc., of the PLL 10, low-pass filter 11, and VCO 12 are arranged between those components and surface earth pattern 15. Further, the components of a VCO 22, a low-pass filter 21, and a PLL 20 are mounted on the reverse surface of the multi-layered substrate and a pattern and a via hole are arranged between those components and a surface earth pattern 25.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the output of wide band frequency while reducing the spurious by using the output signal of a reference signal oscillator as a clock to generate a signal of the designated frequency and also a local oscillation wave of the specific frequency, outputting and multiplying the signal of sum or difference frequency between the output signal of a DDS(direct digital synthesizer) and the local oscillation wave, dividing the output signal of a multiplier and varying the number of divided signals. SOLUTION: A reference oscillator 1 generates a cycle signal having the specific frequency and outputs it to a DDS 2. The DDS 2 outputs a signal of output frequency that is designated by the frequency setting data and on the basis of the timing of a reference clock received from the oscillator 1. A local oscillator 7 outputs a local oscillation wave. The output signal of the DDS 2 and the local oscillation wave of the oscillator 7 are inputted to a frequency converter 8 and converted into a signal of sum or difference frequency of two signals. The frequency of output of the converter 8 is set larger than the that of the output signal of the DDS 2.
