SOLUTION: The hydrogen/oxygen supplying system composed to generate and supply hydrogen/oxygen by supplying pure water to an anode side of an electrolytic cell (1), comprises a first pressure detecting means (25) which can detect a pressure of hydrogen, a second pressure detecting means (35) which can detect a pressure of oxygen, a differential pressure detecting means which can generate a predetermined differential pressure signal based on the first and the second pressure detecting means (25) and (35) respectively, first and second relief mechanisms which can adjust each pressure based on the differential pressure signal, and adjusting the pressure of the anode side and the cathode side in the electrolytic cell (1) using the first and the second relief mechanisms.

The annular members are resistant to acid at least at the part in contact with the membrane, and the ring is furnished in a seal ring groove formed on the side faces of the annular members.

The invention is applicable especially in electrolytic cells for chlor-alkali or hydrogen electrolysis, and in the construction of cells for the generation of power.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the diffusion of produced gaseous hydrogen and to efficiently and stably obtain electrolytic hydrogen with low voltage and electrolytic power by arranging a porous conductive electrode between the catalytic electrode and diaphragm of the filter press-type electrolytic bath for producing hydrogen. CONSTITUTION:The porous conductive electrode 2 supported by a spacer 6 is firmly held to the diaphragm 3 on the anode chamber side of the diaphragm, 3. Meanwhile, the porous conductive electrode 5 is supported by a spacer 6b and firmly held to the diaphragm 3 with the catalytic electrode 4 carrying platinum, etc., is between one the cathode chamber side. The assembly is clamped by the end plates 1a and 1b acting also as the electrode plate and pressing plate to assemble the electrolytic bath. An electrolyte is supplied to the anode and cathode chambers to cause electrolysis, and gaseous hydrogen is generated from the cathode chamber. In this filter press-type hydrogen producing electrolytic bath, a porous conductive electrode 11 is arranged between the catalytic electrode 4 and the diaphragm 3. The diaphragm 3 is preferably formed with an ion-exchange membrane and the electrode 11 with carbon fiber or especially with carbon fiber felt. Consequently, the diffusion of generated gaseous hydrogen is facilitated between the electrode 4 and diaphragm 3, the discharge of hydrogen is promoted, and electrolysis efficiency is improved.
