Thereby converter slag 2 is pulverized and simultaneously Ca on the surfaces of converter slag particles is inactivated and changed into sparingly soluble calcium carobonate. Then granular converter slag fertilizer is produced by mixing a binder (e.g., lignin sulfonate), a surface active agent and water, etc., with the pulverized raw material and granulating the mixture.

摘要： PURPOSE:To utilize slag effectively for aggregate for construction work after seasoning the converter slag utilizing a vegetable cultivation plant and washing the seasoned slag discharged from the plant. CONSTITUTION:The slag discharged from a converter plant 12 is crushed to grain size suitable to the earth for a vegetable cultivation plant 14 by a crusher 13. The crushed slag is laid evenly for a cultivating bed of the vegetable cultivation plant 14. Caustic lime in the crushed slag reacts with sprayed water to form slaked lime and the slag is seasoned. After seasoning is completed, the slag is discharged and washed by a washing device 15 to remove roots of the vegetables or impurities such as fertilizer, to provide aggregate 16. By this process, seasoning is performed completely in a short time, and slag is converted to stabilized aggregate.
