SOLUTION: The packing method uses an air bag 1 having an airtight opening 2 at one end, and an air exhaust valve 4 capable of drawing and expelling air present in the bag 1. After the compressible sheetlike items 3 are packed in the air bag 1, air in the air bag 1 is discharged by the air discharge valve 4 and thus the volume is reduced.
