摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating means of a safety means of a vehicle capable of minimizing a space and enabling to house in a bendable state in a vehicle and to take an extremely short reacting time.
SOLUTION: An safety means 10, and an operating device 12 in the vehicle are provided with a pneumatic muscle 30 as a driving body, and a process gas generator 34 for supplying to the pneumatic muscle. The pneumatic muscle 30 is formed of a tubular body surrounded by a sleeve having a net shaped structural body. When the tubular body is pressurized by gas generated by the process gas generator 34, it expands in a radius direction, and the muscle contracts in a longitudinal direction by a net shaped structure of the sleeve. Because the process gas generator 34 can generate sufficient gas with a necessary pressure in a several tenth second, the safety means operates the operating device 12 promptly, and obtains protective effect efficiently in an accident. Furthermore, the pneumatic muscle 30 can be flexible, can be mounted on a place difficult to access, and can be arranged in a bent state.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of secondary accident due to collapse of cargoes when a vehicle comes into collision, by a method wherein closed type arch-shaped roll bars are installed to the front and the rear end of a load- carrying platform, and a division type arch-shaped roll bar to an intermediate position thereof. CONSTITUTION:A closed type arch-shaped roll bars 1a and 1b are reinforced by a stay 2 for securing to the frond and the rear end of a load-carrying platform 3, and loaded cargoes 5 are prevented from movement through the aid of a protecting device 4. A division type roll bar 1, formed such that it is separable by means of a hinge so as to facilitate loading and unloading of cargoes 5, is installed in the middle between the roll bars 1a and 1b through reinforcement of the roll bar by means of a stay 2. This constitution enables prevention of drop-down during collision without impedance of loading and unloading of cargoes, and prevents the occurrence of a secondary accident.
