    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to give a desired function to a double side copper-clad laminated board and to contrive the improvement of productivity of the laminated board by a method wherein a prepreg or prepregs with a functional resin layer formed on the surface, which is situated on the side of each copper foil, of each prepreg and a copper foil or copper foils with a functional resin layer formed on the surface, which is situated on the side of each prepreg, of each copper foil are used in the manufacture of the laminated board. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the manufacture of a double side copper-clad laminated board obtained by a method wherein one surface of one sheet of a long prepreg or each one surface of a plurality of sheets of long prepregs is superposed on a long copper foil or is alternately superposed on long copper foils to introduce the prepreg and the copper foil or the prepregs and the copper foils in a continuous press and the prepreg and the copper foil or the prepregs and the copper foils are continuously laminated and molded, the prepreg or the prepregs with a functional resin layer formed on the surface, which is situated on the side of each copper foil, of each prepreg and the copper foil or the copper foils with a functional resin layer formed on the surface, which is situated on the side of each prepreg, of each copper foil are used. As a method of forming the functional resin layer, a method, wherein a functional resin composition is adjusted and this is applied on one surface of each prepreg or the rear of each copper foil by a roll coating, a spray coating and other means and is heated and dried according to the need, is exemplified. Thereby, it becomes possible to manufacture the laminated board with the functional layers very efficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To inexpensively prepare a flexible metal foil clad laminated sheet excellent in thickness accuracy, soldering heat resistance and dimensional stability by a continuous lamination method by continuously applying a release agent to the contact surface with an impregnated base material of an air shielding film on the spot before laminating the air shielding film to the impregnated base material. CONSTITUTION:The long base material unwound from a reel 1 is passed through a dryer 2 if necessary to be dried and continuously impregnated with a radical curable resin solution after drying by a resin impregnating coater 3. The uncured laminate 10 is successively guided to a heating furnace 7 to be usually heated to 70-150 deg.C. As a catalyst, org. peroxide is used. Next, the laminated sheet 11 is continuously taken up by a taking-up machine 8 to be taken up by a product winder 9. When a reel 4 is a film-like air shielding body, the laminated sheet is peeled off from the product by the taking-up machine 8 to be taken up by a winder 12. When a metal foil 5 is laminated to a single surface and an air shielding film 4 is laminated to the other surface, a solution of a silicone release agent is applied to the contact surface with the base material of the air shielding film unwound from the reel 4 by a gravure coater 14 and the coated one is passed through a drying zone 15 to remove a solvent. The air shielding film taken up by the winder 12 is supplied to the reel 4 and the release agent is applied to said film to repeatedly use the film.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the warpage of laminated sheet available for electronic, electric and communication machineres by a method wherein specific films are arranged to the respective upper and under surfaces of a required number of long base materials to form a long laminate which is, in turn, molded under heating and pressure to be cut into a required dimension and the cut ones are heated to thermal deformation temp. or higher and subsequently quenched to said temp. or lower. CONSTITUTION:Long thermosetting polyphenylene oxide resin films 2 are supplied so as not only to arrange intermediate layers between three long glass cloths 1 but also to form outermost layers and long adhesive applied copper foils 3 are further arranged to the outermost layers so that the adhesive layers thereof are opposed thereto the form a long laminate 4 which is, in turn, continuously molded under heating and pressure in a double belt roll apparatus 5 and subsequently cut by a cutter 6. The cut ones are further heated to thermal deformation temp. or higher in a heating oven 7 to be perfectly cured and subsequently quenched to said temp. or lower in a cooling oven 8 to obtain laminated sheets 9. Quenching is carred out in a liquid such as water or dry ice vapor. A molten resin is introduced into a base material and a heating and pressing time can be minimized and the residual strain in the laminated sheet can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress the rapid advance of reaction and to improve productivity by a method in which in curing process, hot blast is first applied onto an uncured laminate, and it is switched over to the hot curing by conduction at the stage where the rate of its curing reaction reaches specified value or less, and then at the stage where the rate of the reaction reaches specified range, the laminate is again cured by hot blast curing. CONSTITUTION:The preheating furnaces 10, 15 by hot blast are provided at the sides upstream and downstream of a double belt press 11 adjacently thereto. The laminate covered with metallic foil and/or mold release film 8 passes the preheating furnace 10, and is pressurized and heated with the double belt press 11, and then passes a post-curing furnace 15, whereby it is cured and becomes a product 20. First, hot blast is applied onto the uncured laminate, and then it is switched over to the hot curing by conduction at the stage where the ratio of curing reaction reaches at most 10%, and at the state where its reaction-ratio reaches at least 15% and at most 80%, the laminate is cured by hot blast curing again. Consequently, the rapid advance of the reaction is suppressed, and its productivity is improved. At the stage where its curing reaction-ratio is at most 105, when it is heated quickly, the foaming of the laminate, the peeling between layers and the separation of mold release film etc. may occur.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize run-off of a resin from the end of a laminated sheet when lamination molding is performed and to improve thickness accuracy and surface smoothness by using an impregnation resin treated with a rapid curing treatment on one or both side ends or neighborhood thereof as a base material. CONSTITUTION:When a laminated sheet is prepd. by heating and pressing one or a plurality of base materials coated or impregnated with a thermosetting resin, a treatment for accelerating curing of the impregnating resin on molding is provided in advance on one or both side ends or neighborhood thereof of a continuous base material. The position is pref. in a range of 0-15mm or 0.30mm from the end of the base material and the treatment is done on part of the width or in a narrow tablet-shape. These part are usually parts to be cut off when the laminated sheet turns into a final product after the laminated sheet is molded but they are not necessarily cut off. A prepreg obtd. by impregnating the thus treated base material with a usual resin varnish and drying it exhibits less run-off of the resin from the end part of the base material when it is molded by heating and pressing as the end parts or neighborhood thereof in the width direction are cured more rapidly than the central part.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the uniformity of a product without unevenness by providing at least a pair of spacers capably of being transferred in the same direction as the transferring direction of a transferring belt at the position corresponding to the peripheral edge of the aperture of a fixed pressurizing chamber at both sides in width direction of the object to be compressed between the transferring belts. CONSTITUTION:Transferring belts (endless steel belt) 2, 2 are laid on the two pairs of drums 1a, 1b in stretched condition, and the upper and lower belts are rotationally driven in the same speed. The object 3 to be compressed is nipped between the transferring belts 2, 2 and is transferred. At least a pair of spacers 11 are provided capably of being transferred in the same direction as the transferring direction of the transferring belts 2, 2 at the position corresponding to the peripheral edge 6a of an aperture at both sides in width direction of the object 3 to be compressed between the transferring belts 2, 2. Accordingly, the whole surface of the object to be compressed is subjected to uniform pressure from a fixed pressurizing chambers 4, 4. Consequently, the uniform product without unevenness may be produced with high yield.
