    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing an organic chlorinated compound in an exhaust gas of a cement manufacture plant, which can reduce the quantity of the discharged organic chlorinated compound, such as dioxins and PCBs, discharged from the cement manufacture plant, and can save fuel as well.
      SOLUTION: The powder containing the organic chlorinated compound, such as the dioxins and PCBs, is brought into contact with a high temperature gas of ≥100°C within the cement manufacture plant to separate or thermally decompose the organic chlorinated compound. The powder is then filtered to adsorb the organic chlorinated compound in the high temperature gas on the adsorption powder. Then, the adsorption powder is used as a part of the firing fuel of clinker, thereby thermally decomposing the adsorbed organic chlorinated compound. Consequently, the quantity of the discharged organic chlorinated compound discharged from the cement manufacture plant can be further reduced. Even more, the firing fuel can be saved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of contaminations which enables reduction in the cost of a purification process and reduces the risk that purified matters are alkalified.
      SOLUTION: The purification method of the contaminations comprises a reducing heating process for purifying the contaminations by reducing and heating the contaminations contaminated by a organic halogen compound and including moisture and a waste gas processing process for purifying a waste gas generated in the reducing heating process. The waste gas processing process includes a gas purifying process for extracting the undecomposed organic halogen compound contained in the waste gas by an oil by contacting the waste gas with the oil, an oil water separating process for separating the oil from which the organic halogen compound is extracted by the gas purifying process and the water formed by condensing moisture in the waste gas mixed within the oil, a decomposing process for decomposing the organic halogen compound by adding alkali metals to the oil from which the water is separated and eliminated in the oil water separating process, and a hydrating process for extracting the alkali metals and halogenated alkali metal salts in the oil into the water by adding the water after the decomposing process. The water to the oil separated in the oil water separating process is used as the water added in the hydrating process.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose PCB (polychlorobiphenyls) into salt, water and carbon dioxide while melting PCB-containing oil or PCB-infiltrated, PCB-stuck or PCB-enclosed matter being PCB-containing waste at ultra-high temperature.
      SOLUTION: PCB-containing waste is disassembled/sorted into a PCB-unimpregnated member and a PCB-impregnated member. The PCB-unimpregnated member is cleaned with an ammonium salt and recycled. The PCB-impregnated member is crushed, which is then supplied to a cyclone furnace 1 together with oil-removed PCB-containing waste and melted/decomposed at ultra-high temperature. The exhaust gas from the cyclone furnace is made to pass through a pyrolysis chamber 2, heat exchangers 3, 5 where a heat source of the exhaust gas is adjusted, an NOx removing reaction chamber 4 where the exhaust gas is treated chemically, a scrubber 6, a multicyclone 7, a bag filter 8 and an adsorption column 9 and discharged to the atmosphere. A water-removed PCB-containing liquid from a water storage part is subjected to solid-liquid separation using an electromagnetic separator 41. PCB in solidified PCB-adsorbed magnetite is desorbed/separated by a regenerated organic solvent such as methanol, distilled and stored in a liquid waste PCB storehouse as recovered PCB.
