摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device allowing communication connection even when capabilities do not coincide with each other between terminals in the communication connection.SOLUTION: In an IP exchange device BT, a codec capability table 141 obtained by relating respective terminal numbers of respective SIP terminals T11-T1i and gateways GW1, GW2 to codecs each possessed by each of them is previously stored in a storage part 14 before communication connection; the codec capability table 141 is consulted in the communication connection; when the codecs coincide with each other, communication between an originating terminal and a reception terminal is connected by a peer-to-peer manner by using the codecs which coincide with each other; and, when the codecs do not coincide with each other, the communication between the originating terminal and the reception terminal is connected by being led in a time switch 16.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method, a system and a server for automatically discovering the common Multimedia Service Capability, and computer program. This solution avoid unnecessary use of the radio interface and is based on making use of the circuit switched network, e.g. the Intelligent network IN, as trigger to the packet switched network to find out about the calling as well as the called user's multimedia capabilities during a voice call. If there is a positive capability discovery result out of this for both users, the network will send a message to each of the two mobile phones that they should notify the users e.g. by displaying an icon above a soft button. It can be that the phone displays a shared multimedia-Image icon, if this was the only commonly supported capability of both users, up to a whole range of more or less complicated SMM services.

摘要： A VoIP system has plural CPE units connected to an IP network as parties to be connected with each other. Each CPE unit is composed of a VoIP-IF circuit and an audio codec circuit. The VoIP-IF circuit executes at least one of the coding process to the first audio frequency signal and the restoration process to the media information to transmit the media information generated by the process to the party connected and restore the first audio frequency signal from the media information supplied from the party connected to output it. The audio codec circuit performs at least one of the sending of the received music data to the party and the conversion of the music data supplied from the party into the second audio frequency signal.

摘要： A method of negotiating a call capability between signaling points in a telecommunications system. The method comprises sending a capability preference or prioritised list of preferences from an originating signaling point to a terminating signaling point or signaling transfer point, at the call control level. A capability acceptance is returned from the terminating signaling point or signaling transfer point to the originating signaling point at the Call Control level, if the terminating signaling point or signaling transfer point accepts a preference sent by the originating signaling point.
