    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound recording device which can continue recording without being restricted by the file size.
      SOLUTION: When sequentially recording the data D3 encoded in an AD/DA converter circuit 24 and a DSP20B in a WAV format sound file on a flash memory 21, this device creates another audio file AF2 with the CPU 20A in the controller 20 before the size of the recording audio file AF1 reaches its upper limit 2 [GB] and switches to the audio file AF2 to record the encoded data D3. Thus, it can continue the sound recording until it consumed the whole capacity of the flash memory 21 without restricted by the upper limit 2 [GB] specified in the WAV format.
