    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem in a conventional rotation transmission device using gears wherein reduction of friction generated in a sliding contact portion of mutually meshed gears is desired.
      SOLUTION: The device for carrying out rotation transmission between gears is provided with at least a worm gear 20 which is an input gear, and an output gear 25 which is an output gear. The mutually meshed gears slidably contact via grease using ester oil and/or ether oil as base oil. By forming a hard carbon thin film on a sliding contact face of at least one of the mutually meshed gears, and providing a hydrogen content of the hard carbon thin film at twenty atomic percent or less, extensive reduction of the friction in the sliding contact portion is realized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lifetime by suppressing the wear of resin gear teeth and establish a higher output while the whole device is maintained compactly by reducing the frictional loss of a reduction gear mechanism and a rack-and-pinion type motion converting mechanism.
      SOLUTION: The electric power steering device includes the reduction gear mechanism having a follower gear structured so that a resin part consisting of a resin compound and furnished at the peripheral surface with gear teeth is formed rigidly at the periphery of a core pipe of metal, while a driving gear is made of metal, wherein the surface roughness on the tooth flank is 0.15 μm or less by the arithmetic mean roughness Ra, and at least between the follower gear and the driving gear, a base oil and a grease compound are interposed; the base oil containing at least one of the poly-α-olefin oil and mineral oils in a content of 80 mass% or more, and the grease compound containing as additives a specific oily agent and a specific nonpolar solid lubricant.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically grease up when detecting a clear difference by distributing a sound detector near each movable part of a wind turbine generator, and dynamically comparing with the previously prepared sound of each part at the normal time correspondint to the wind force at that time, to prevent a mechanical deterioration owing to the shortage of grease, and to inform of an abnormal portion and to prompt to exchange it using a general purpose circuit, etc., when the abnormal sound continues even after greasing up thereof. SOLUTION: A grease up device and the sound detector are distributed to a gear for transmitting the rotational force to a power generator, a bearing for making it go straight with respect to the wing wind direction, and a shaft bearing for supporting the wing and the power generator. The grease up device and the sound detector are connected to a sound comparator for comparing with a normal gear creak. An anemometer is connected to the sound comparator.
