    • PURPOSE:To ensure slip prevention, by forming the paint film consisting mainly of an elastic resin binder and spherical elastic resin particles having predetermined film characteristics on the surface of an object requiring a slip preventive measure. CONSTITUTION:The paint film consisting mainly of an elastic resin binder and spherical elastic resin particles having predetermined film characteristics is formed on the surface of an object requiring a slip preventive measure, for example, a tray for holding glass tableware, floor board and stair step. In the manufacturing of this elastic resin binder, urethane, acrylic or other resins or natural or synthetic rubber having a film characterized by a tensile strength of not less than 100kg/cm , an elongation rate of not less than 200% and a 100% stress of not more than one-half the fracture strength is used, solution polymerized in an organic solvent. As for the spherical elastic resin, the particles over a 3-150mum diameter range of polyurethane, polyester, polyethylene, etc., are used. The use of such paint film ensures the slip prevention and also enhances the decorativeness.

CONSTITUTION:This toner has the coating film consisting of the copolymer which is the copolymer of the vinyl polymerizable monomer and the quaternary ammonium salt of the dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate and in which the copolymn. ratio (wt.%) of the vinyl polymerizable monomer and dial kylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate of the copolymer is 80-98:2-20 and the quater nary salt of the dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate is made into the quaternary ammonium salt by 0.8-1.0mol. sulfonic acid group-contg. compd. with respect to 1.0mol. dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate. The adequate negative electrostatic chargeability having excellent stability with lapse of time is thereby imparted even to the toner which is not particularly added with an electric charge control agent.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an immobilizing carrier, consisting of DVB polymer particles having a macroporous structure and capable of readily and efficiently carrying out immobilization of enzymes, etc., for reaction of a water-insoluble substrate. CONSTITUTION:50-120pts.wt. precipitating agent, preferably 4-methyl-2-pentanol is added to 100pts.wt. high-purity DVB (divinylbenzene) or industrial DVB monomer consisting of a blend of ethylvinylbenzene with other various kinds of saturated compounds and suspension polymerization is carried out in water. The resultant polymer particles are initially washed with water, then methanol and further extracted with acetone until a constant weight is attained in a Soxhlet extractor. The precipitating agent and unreacted monomer remaining in the particles are removed to afford the aimed macroporous DVB polymer particles having 0.25-1.65cc/g pore volume (measured by a mercury porosimter) and a pore diameter within the range of 140-2,000Angstrom . The above-mentioned particles are directly used as a carrier for immobilization without requiring activation treatment.
