摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the bonding force of an electrode by forming the electrode on the surface in gas phase after carrying out plasma or reverse sputtering while bias negative potential is applied to an organic luminescence layer, a substrate layer, which is a hole or electron carrying layer, and a grid electrode above its surface. CONSTITUTION:After a transparent electrode 2, a hole carrying layer 3, an organic luminescence layer 4, and an electron carrying layer 5 are successively formed on the surface of a glass substrate 1, and before a negative electrode 6 is formed, plasma treatment is carried out. In the plasma treatment, the layer 5 is connected with a negative voltage electric power source 8 and further a mesh-like grid 9 is set near to the layer 5 and made to be the same negative potential. The positive ions in the plasma gas are accelerated due to the negative potential applied to the grid 9 and activate the surface of the layer 5, so that the bonding force of the negative electrode 6 to be formed next is improved. After surface treatment by plasma or reverse sputtering, the negative electrode 6 is formed in the same vacuum.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a (chlorinated) p-xylylene polymer-coated article, especially a rare earth element/iron magnet having good wettability with an adhesive by coating the surface of the material to be protected with a (chlorinated) p-xylene polymer film having a plasma-treated surface. CONSTITUTION:A material to be protected (e.g. rare earth element/iron magnet) is coated with a p-xylyene polymer film or a chlorinated p-xylylene polymer film, and its external surface is subjected to plasma treatment. A highly corrosion-resistant article on which the above film having a plasma-treated surface is thus formed is improved in wettability with an adhesive or adhesiveness thereto. Therefore, this article can be easily fixed in place with an adhesive in many uses.

For example, 2.5wt.% epoxy resin is mixed with magnet powder having Nd9Fe79.5Zr4B7.6 of alloy composition manufactured by a quick cooling method, pressure molded with 5 tongs/cm , then resin-cured at 180 deg.C to obtain a molded form having a surface roughness Ra of 2.1mum. The surface of the molded form is polished to obtain the Ra of 0.3mum. Then, after the surface is plasma-treated with O8 gas, chlorinated p-xylene polymer film having a thickness of 10mum is formed.
