    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared communication device enabling a plurality of devices to be controlled without mechanically changing infrared-ray emission directions at each time. SOLUTION: The infrared communication device has a first infrared-ray emitting means 2 directed in at least an upward direction in a space, a second infrared-ray emitting means 3 directed in a horizontal direction in the space, a first driving means 4 of driving the first infrared-ray emitting means 2 with a specified current, a second driving means 5 of driving the second infrared-ray emitting means 3 with a current less than the first driving means 4, a control means 6 of driving and controlling the first and second driving means 4 and 5 with specified data, a communication control means 7 of inputting the specified data from outside, and a battery power source 8 supplying electric power to the respective means. Thus, the two infrared-ray emitting means 2 and 3 which are differently directed are provided and their light emission intensities are taken into consideration to control the plurality of devices without changing the infrared-ray emission directions and effectively use the battery power source.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coping method for analyzing a cause of becoming communication failure when the communication failure is caused at radiocommunication time in an automatic radio meter inspection system for automatically inspecting a meter by radio transmission. SOLUTION: This automatic radio meter inspection measuring device is composed of a radio wave detecting part 8 for detecting the existence of a radio wave, a signal demodulating part 9 for demodulating a data signal from the radio wave, a waveform processing part 10 for storing a signal from the signal demodulating part 9 in a waveform storage part 11 by executing A/D conversion, an eye opening ratio measuring part 12 for measuring the eye opening ratio from data stored in the waveform storage part 11, a time counting part 13 for counting the present time, a storage part 14 for storing the content received from the eye opening ratio measuring part 12, and a control part for displaying the content stored in the storage part 14 on a display part, and comprises control for respectively displaying the eye opening ratio measuring content in receiving time order to the display part, and can easily analyze the cause of radiocommunication failure.
