摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on the failure in ignition that the electrical insulation of an ignition electrode covered by glass can not be kept because of chapping and cracking of the glass caused by thermal shock in boiling-over or wetting by water found when a temperature of the glass rises as the glass of the ignition plug is close to the flame formed on a burner. SOLUTION: As the glass 8 of the ignition plug 5 is mounted on an outer lower side of a flame hole 3, the glass is hardly affected by the boiling-over in cooking, and further as the glass is separated from the flame formed on the flame hole 3 of the burner 1, the temperature rise of the glass can be kept low. The temperature rise of the glass can be further inhibited by placing the glass 8 approximately in opposition to a secondary air inlet 14 for combustion. Whereby the glass is hardly affected by the boiling-over, and the chapping and cracking of the glass can be prevented even when the glass is wetted by a boiled-over matter.
