    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure high receiving performance while suppressing generation of noise with antenna switching when receiving weak input of a broadcast wave.
      SOLUTION: At a wireless broadcast receiving apparatus which includes a plurality of antennas and receives a broadcast wave at one antenna selected in accordance with a receiving state from among the plurality of antennas, after an input signal level L becomes lower than or equal to a predetermined first level L1 in a receiving frequency, information relating to an antenna selected as a receiving antenna for receiving a broadcast wave is stored in a memory for each antenna. In a case where the input signal level L becomes lower than or equal to a predetermined second level L2 lower than the predetermined first level L1 in the receiving frequency, diversity operation is then stopped and parameters are compared for antennas selected as the receiving antenna during a predetermined period just before the level reduction, thereby performing hold operation for fixing the receiving antenna as an antenna of higher antenna performance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a battery current from being consumed in waste by connecting a defrost heater conductor and an antenna pattern conductor to a reception signal of an AM/FM broadcast program via a matching circuit consisting of capacitors and coils so as to reduce radio wave cross modulation. SOLUTION: The antenna system 10 is made up of a defrosting heater conductor 2, a battery +B to supply power to the conductor 2 and an antenna pattern conductor 9 for FM broadcast reception. Furthermore, the heater conductor 2 and the pattern conductor 9 are connected to input terminals 20a, 21a of a matching circuit 20. The input terminal 20a is connected to a sub-output terminal 21b for an FM reception signal via capacitors C1, 2. Furthermore, the terminal 21a is connected to a main output terminal 20b for AM/FM reception signals by connecting a coil L1 to the capacitor C1, a resistor R1 to the C2, and connecting L2, R2 to ground. Thus, radio wave cross modulation due to low frequency noise intruded in the heater conductor is reduced by the capacitor C1 and direct flowing of a battery DC current to ground is prevented by the coils L1, L2 to use the battery power without waste.
