    • PURPOSE:A fume remover capable of creating a comfortable working environment, having a structure in which a permeable resisting part beneath a ceiling of uneven shape and a fume cxhaust port is opened between the ceiling and the permeable resisting part. CONSTITUTION:The ceiling 3 provided on the duct and guarder 2 placed between the struts I is formed into an uneven shape by means of the spoke 4. The flexble material 5 is placed along the spoke 4, and the netting 6 as a permeable resisting part is laid beneath the ceiling to form a triangled columnar continuous space. The fume exhaust port 7 is each provided in the space, and the periphery of the ceiling 3 is provided with the air jetting hole II to form an sir curtain which separates the working place from the outside. The fume generated in the compartment goes up and reaches the ceiling 3 through the netting 6. Then, the fume is trapped in the uneven portions of the ceiling 3 without convection. The fume is sucked into the duct and guarder 2 through the exhaust port 7 by means of a fan and then exhausted to the outside.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the wire forming a film having excellent characteristics of tight adhesion with a base metal, wear resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, etc., by incorporating an aluminum base metal as a matrix with hard grains. CONSTITUTION:The wire is formed by incorporating an Al or Al alloy matrix with >=50vol% hard grains constituted of ceramics, intermetallic compounds, cermet, metals or the like and having >=500Hv hardness of themselves. The wire is stuck onto the surface of a base metal by adopting thermal-spraying and cladding by welding, by which a film having excellent characteristics of wear resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, etc., can efficiently be formed. As for the above hard grains, in the case of 50vol% incorporation, the homogeneous dispersion of the hard grains into the matrix of the film is made difficult and the matrix is reduced, so that the conformability of the film with the base metal is deteriorated.
