    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a battery, with which, at the time of manufacturing of the battery, an electrode sheet is adhered temporarily to the separator to form an electrode sheet/separator laminate in order to prevent a mutual slippage between the electrode sheet and the separator, thereby the battery can be manufactured effectively, and an electrode sheet/separator junction having strong adherence strength between the sheet and the separator, which is formed after the manufacturing of the battery, contributes stabilization of battery performance and safety of the battery.
      SOLUTION: The invention provides the separator for the battery, which is made of a sheet consisting of a reacting polymer produced by bridging a polymer having an optical reaction property with a bridging functionality, including an ethylene double bonding and an epoxy group in a molecule thereof, by the optical reaction, and microcapsules distributed in the reacting polymer, having an epoxy resin curing agent in them.
