    • PURPOSE:To improve the rate of recording of caller information by completing the automatic answering operation while recording a caller voice in natural conversation. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set consists of a connection terminal 1, a loop open/close means 2, an incoming call detection means 3, a line interface section 4, a recording/reproducing means 5, a reply message storage means 6, a message storage means 7, a signal level detection, means 8, a voiced tone discrimination means 9, a time count means 10, a voice time parameter storage means 11, a silence time parameter storage means 12, and a control means 13. Then four reply messages comprising three basic messages usually used by a called party at the normal telephone reply and a basic message required in the message recording of the automatic answering telephone set are prepared and each reply message is sent based on the presence of the voice of a caller and the timewise length of the voice to complete the automatic answering operation while recording the caller voice in the natural conversation. Thus, the rate of recording of caller information is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the high-precision D/A converter which does not depend upon the precision of a reference voltage by deriving an analog signal from the collector ratio of a couple of transistors (TR) which form a differential amplifier. CONSTITUTION:Plates of the TRs 12a and 12b forming the differential amplifier 13 are connected to output terminals of operational amplifiers 9a and 9b equipped with diodes 10a and 10b. A reference voltage Vref from a reference voltage source 8 is connected to plus terminals of the amplifiers 9a and 9b and a terminal 2 of a variable resistance network 7. The output terminal 4 of this network 1 is connected to the minus terminal of the amplifier 10 and a reference resistance 11 is connected to the minus terminal of the amplifier 10b. Then, the analog signal is led out on the basis of the ratio Ia/Ib of collector currents of the TRs 12a and 12b. This current ratio Ia/Ib does not depend upon the reference voltage Vref. Thus, the high-precision D/A converter which does not depend upon the reference voltage is obtained.
