    • PURPOSE:To improve productivity of the captioned actuator as well as to make the stroke thereof adjustable by opening one end of the bellows body of the actuator and sealing this opening by means of a lid board. CONSTITUTION:One end of the bellows body 2 of an actuator 1 is opened and a flare pat 10 through which a small hole is drilled is fitted in the opening and this small hole is tightly sealed with a lid board 9. Owing to the above arrangement, the stroke of the actuator 1 can be freely adjusted because the bellows body can be cut away before the lid board 9 is attached. In addition, the mold of the actuator need not be prepared for every stroke, thus the productibity thereof being enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the amount of sucked inside air without making a switching box large, and as well to aim at reducing noise, by carrying out the switching between an outside air introduction port in the top of a blower and a lateral inside air introduction port having auxiliary inside air introduction ports in both adjacent side walls with the use of a single switching damper. CONSTITUTION:Upon introduction of outside air, since an inside and outside air switching damper 27 closes an inside air introduction port and a flappers 24, 25, air taken into by means of a blower is introduced only through an outside air introduction port 21. When the damper 27 is rotated to open to a certain angle, the depressing force of rollers 29, 30 to flapper doors 34, 35 are released, so that the doors 33, 34 open at a predetermined angle, and therefore, the outside and inside airs are mixed together by driving the air-conditioning system and are introduced into a compartment. Damper 27 is further opened to completely close the introduction port 21, and therefore, an inside circulation air-conditioning mode is established. When the amount of air is insufficient, the doors 33, 34 are further opened since the inside pressure of a switch box becomes negative. Accordingly, the large amount of sucked inside air can be ensured so that the size of the box is not necessary to be large, and as well noise due to sucked air may be made small.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration and noise of a brush unit by mounting a brush body on a metal base formed with an elastic film on the front and back surfaces around a threaded hole and engaging a screw into the prescribed spacer provided at the threaded hole, thereby fixing a housing. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate 13 is fixed onto an alastic film 12 formed on the surface of a metal base 11, and a brush assembly which is made of a brush holder 10 for containing a brush 9 is fixed with a plurality of clamping rivets 14 on the plate 13. A threaded hole 4, to which a spacer 5 is inserted, is formed at the base 11, an elastic film 12 is formed at least on the front and back surfaces of the base 11 around the hole 4, the spacer 5 which is contacted at one end with the housing 2 is provided in the hole 4, and a screw 8 is inserted into the hole 3 formed at the housing 2 from the other end of the spacer 5 by a flat washer 6 and a washer 7. In this manner, the vibration of the brush unit can be eliminated to be transmitted directly to the housing 2.

An intake duct 6 that separtes outside air and inside air is provided at the opposite side of the fan of a bell mouth 5. Sound absorbing material 10, widened at the further side, is provided on the inside wall of the reflector 9. Auxiliary intake hole 11 is provided on the reflector 9 and the sound absorbing material 10 to broaden the air intake area if needed, and the outside air intake duct 14 is provided to connect to a car body side outside air intake duct 13 at the intake port 12 of the intake duct 6.
