    • PURPOSE:To improve the detection accuracy of a torque, by forming a cross shaped hole at the center of a sensor base to prevent the generation of a magnetic flux of the sensor base. CONSTITUTION:A detector detects a torque applied to a shaft to be measured as a voltage value with the detection coil from change in a magnetic flux formed with an exciting coil. The sensor base 31 of the detector is made of a metal conductor while a fixing hole of an exciting core 32 and fixing hole of a detecting coil 33 are formed integral as a cross shaped hole 310. On the other hand, the detecting core 33 is provided with detecting core engaging parts 330A and 330B to be engaged with the end of the cross shaped hole 310 of the sensor base 31 while the exciting core 32 is provided with exciting core engaging sections 320A and 320B respectively to be engaged with the end of the cross shaped hole 310 which holes a clearance between the core 32 and the detecting core 33 and is perpendicular to the detecting core 33. Thus, the sensor base 31 without the formation of a coil of the detecting core 33 eliminates the generation of a magnetic flux in the sensor base 31 thereby enabling a higher detection accuracy.

    • PURPOSE:To make the knocking of an engine surely detectable all the time, by inputting an output signal out of a sensor detecting the extent of cylinder internal pressure into a filter, while comparing with the specified constant level and thereby detecting a knock signal. CONSTITUTION:Cylinder internal pressure information is inputted into a band pass filter 406 via a multiplexer 405 by way of amplifiers 401-404 at every cylinder. Here, frequency bands of a knock signal are discriminated, taken out, and compared with a detection level VSL at a comparator 408 by way of a half-wave rectifier circuit 407, and when exceeding it, a knocking signal KNCKP is inputted into I/O 409 for a while AIDC 0 deg.-70 deg. by a gate 412, and if the count value reaches to the specified value, knock control making ignition timing delay its advance as long as the specified value takes place. Thus, knocking is always detectable so accurately and, what is more, proper knock control is performable.

    • PURPOSE:To effect optimum ignition timing control by adjusting knock detecting sensibility automatically. CONSTITUTION:The output of a detecting circut 102 is inputted into a counter 104 and a comparator 109 while a reference signal 108 is inputted into the comparator 109 to compare the reference signals of respective cylinders with the output of the detecting circuit 102 and output ignition timing delay signal upon generating knock. On the other hand, the counter 104 advances the spark- advance of a specified cylinder to count the signal of the detecting circuit 102 for the specifically advanced cylinder and the pulse of the detecting circuit 102 of the specified cylinder, in which the spark-advance is advanced gradually, is counted to compare the value of present count with a value of previous count and dicide whether knock is being generated in the specified cylinder or not. In case the value of present count is increased suddenly compared with previous count, it is decided that the knock is generated in the cylinder and the reference signal of each cylinder in a reference signal unit 108 is corrected. In other words, the reference signal of the reference signal unit 108 is changed by the value of count of the specified cylinder, in which the spark-advance therefor is advanced.

    • PURPOSE:To permit to detect an unsaturated time correctly by a method wherein a detecting capacitor, generating a voltage related with the unsaturated time of a power transistor, is charged by a constant current, in the ignition device for an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A revolution synchronizing signal, generated by a pickup coil B, passes through a bias level control circuit E and is formed into a rectangular wave by comparing it with the output of a comparative voltage bias level control circuit H in a comparator A, then, conducts an ignition coil 210 through an amplifying circuit I and a power transistor 200. the miximum current value is controlled by making the transistor 200 unsaturated in a current control circuit J, the unsaturated time is detected by a detecting circuit F, the capacitor of an unsaturated time/voltage converting circuit G is charged by a constant current circuit during the unsaturated time, and the unsaturated time is controlled so as to be shortened in a non-conducting period by the terminal voltage of the capacitor. Accordingly, the unsaturated time detection will never be affected by the fluctuation of an electric source voltage and the reference voltage of the comparator is changed upon non-conduction time, therefore, the malfunction of ignition will never be caused.
