    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety upon failure of a flow control valve without sacrifice of convenience. SOLUTION: Temperature of a cooking container heated by the gas burner 1 of a combustor is detected by means of a temperature sensor 2. When the detected temperature reaches a sustaining temperature (230 deg.C) at the time of frying, a heating control means 13 controls fire force of the gas burner 1 such that the detected temperature is kept in the vicinity of the sustaining temperature (230 deg.C) for a predetermined time (2 min). When the detected temperature reaches a stop temperature (255 deg.C) before the predetermined time elapses due to open failure of a flow control valve 5, the gas burner 1 is put out. When the stop temperature is not reached, a temperature setting means 14 sets the stop temperature and the sustaining temperature at 270 deg.C and 245 deg.C, respectively. Subsequently, the heating control means 13 controls fire force of the gas burner 1 such that the detected temperature is kept in the vicinity of the sustaining temperature (245 deg.C).

A liquid extracting plug mechanism unit 40, equipped with a liquid extraction operating unit 43 and a liquid extracting passage 41, communicated with the communicating passage 21 of the operating shaft 20 and serving as a liquid extracting passage 41 which becomes a passage upon extracting the liquid, is attached to the operating shaft 20. In this case, the liquid extracting passage 41 of the liquid extracting mechanism unit 40 is positioned so as to be substantially coaxial with the central axis of the operating shaft 20 for the switching valve 17.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an effective protection of a connected location between a rigid pipe at a hot water discharging pipe and a flexible pipe while keeping a superior aesthetic appearance of the hot water discharging pipe section in a hot water boiler. SOLUTION: There is provided a hot water boiler, in which a rigid pipe section 3 extended out of a main body 1 of a hot water boiler and a flexible pipe section 4 connected to the extremity end of the rigid pipe section 3 form a hot water discharging pipe 2. The hot water discharging pipe 2 is covered by a bellows-like flexible cover 8, wherein the flexible cover 8 is applied as a cover having a bellows structure over a substantial full length of the hot water discharging pipe 2, a bellows cylindrical section 8a placed at a corresponding position of a connecting section covering a connected location between the rigid pipe section 3 at the hot water discharging pipe 2 and the flexible pipe section 4. Near its forward or rearward section of the flexible cover 8 is a bellows-like cylindrical section having a higher rigidity against a bending operation of the flexible pipe 4 than that of a bellows-like cylindrical part 8b, at the extremity end covering the flexible pipe 4 at the extremity end of the hot water discharging pipe rather than the location near the connecting part.
