The shield gas flowed out to the outer peripheral side of the tip body via the shield gas outflow hole, is straightened via the gas lens, and is injected between the tip body and the nozzle, in its turn, to the outer peripheral side of the tip.

A tapered portion and slits are provided on the tip end of the collet adapter 12.
