摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a depositing film for a film capacitor having a depositing pattern optimal to operating rating with an excellent long life-time, current resistivity and self-security, and to provide a film capacitor using the film and an inverter device using the capacitor.
SOLUTION: In this dielectric film where depositing metal is formed with a non-depositing part 1 remaining at one edge of the film in its longitudinal direction, the depositing metal is configured of a plurality of divided electrodes 3a to 3c sub-divided by a non-depositing slot 2 and fuses 4a to 4c for connecting them. In this depositing film, the width of the fuse for connecting the divided electrodes in the widthwise direction of the film is formed so as to be thicker according as it goes away from the non-depositing part. Thus, it is possible to obtain a film capacitor with an excellent long-time, current resistivity, and security when using it for the capacitor.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallized film capacitor manufacturing method capable of protecting an external electrode or an electrode film of metallized film against oxidation caused by oxidizing seeds such as ozone or the like generated by an arc discharge when electrode material melted by the arc discharge is attached to both the end faces of a capacitor element for the formation of the external electrode. SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a metallized film capacitor 10, a pair of metallized films 18 are laminated and rolled up into a capacitor element 20 so as to make the margins 14 of the metallized films 18 disposed at the opposite sides of the element 20, and thereafter electrode material 24 melted by an arc discharge is sprayed and attached on the edge faces of the capacitor element 20 by the use of the compressed air for the formation of external electrodes 22. A powdery gas adsorbent is mixed into the above compressed air, the electrode material is sprayed on both the end faces of the capacitor element 20 by the compressed air mixed with powdery gas absorbent, and the electrode material and gas adsorbent are attached to the edge faces of the capacitor element for the formation of the external electrodes 22.
