    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning device which has a simple structure and is small-sized, and can be configured at a low cost.
      SOLUTION: The turning device comprises a male screw member having a portion of a solid of rotation which is tapered in the direction of its axis and has a male screw portion formed on the rotation surface about the axis, a first member which has a first female screw portion capable of being screwed on the male screw portion, and a second member which has a second female screw portion capable of being screwed on the male screw portion screwed in the first female screw portion, and is mounted so as to rotate about a required rotation axis with respect to the first member. When the male screw member is turned about the axis with respect to the first member and the second member, and is moved in the direction of the axis with respect to the first member and the second member, the rotational position of the second member about the rotation axis is changed with respect to the first member.

    • PURPOSE: To eliminate a large-scale apparatus such as fork lift by a method wherein retaining parts are so arranged to allow relative passage of an extension nut downward while blocking the relative passage thereof upward at a plurality of upper and lower points being separated and a releasing mechanism is provided to release the retention with the retaining parts freely. CONSTITUTION: A bolt 1 set upright at an attitude vertical or along the vertical way is so arranged to be retained freely on an extension bolt 4 added thereto being erected at the lower part thereof and on an extension nut 5 used at a link part thereof. Retaining parts 6 adapted to allow relative passage of the extension nut 5 downward while blocking the relative passage thereof upward are arranged at a plurality of upper and lower points being separated while a releasing mechanism 7 is provided to release the retention with the retaining parts 6 freely. This eliminates the need for a large-scale apparatus such as forklift.
