    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a ceramic honeycomb structure capable of easily discriminating cells to be sealed at the time of closing of the opening parts of the cells provided to both end surfaces of the ceramic honeycomb structure formed into a honeycomb shape having a large number of cells. SOLUTION: Sheets 4 are bonded to both end surfaces of the ceramic honeycomb body 1 formed into the honeycomb shape having a large number of cells. Holes 5 are bored in the sheets 4 at the positions corresponding to the opening parts of the cells 3. After the opening parts of the cells 3 provided to both end surfaces of the ceramic honeycomb body 1 are filled with a sealing slurry through the holes 5, the ceramic honeycomb body 1 is baked to manufacture the ceramic honeycomb body structure, wherein the opening parts of the cells 3 are sealed alternately. The ceramic honeycomb body 1 is molded into a shape having at least one reference cell 10 different from another cells 3 in the shape of the opening parts provided to each of the end surfaces of the ceramic honeycomb body 1. The holes 5 are bored in the sheets 4 at the positions corresponding to the opening parts of the reference cell 10 and another cells 3 on the basis of the reference cell 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic panel manufacturing method capable of further enhancing the fixing force of the aggregate of an inorganic panel having the aggregate arranged to the surface layer thereof and capable of imparing more beautiful natural stone appearance to the inorganic panel.
      SOLUTION: A semidrying cementitious powder material (3) is sprinkled over the surface of a substrate (2) comprising a hydraulic material (1) containing cement as a main raw material and the aggregate (5) is further sprinkled over the substrate. Thereafter, this substrate (2) is press-molded after vibration is applied to the substrate (2) to obtain the inorganic panel (6).
