    • PURPOSE: To provide a safety chain having the movable property without producing rust by coating the total chain including the lapping part of mutual annular bodies composed of the chain. CONSTITUTION: A metal bar of iron, etc., is cut in a proper length and a semi opening annular body is made, these semi opening annular bodies are fit mutually, then each annular body is closed and the matching line is welded. The total chain including lapping part of mutual annular bodies 1a, 1b composing the chain 1 is coated with a resin 2 so as to be closed in. As this resin 2, the subject having the elasticity in the state of normal temperature is used. In the case of attaching as the safety chain for guarding to prevent the automatic selling machine, etc., from being stolen, a bolt being passed through the annular body of the starting end of the safety chain is screwed to a nut buried fixedly on a floor face or a wall face, and the bolt is attached fixedly being unable to be rotated by welding, etc. The safety chain has a proper movability as the total, due to being bent corresponding to the installation attitude of the automatic selling machine, the attaching work is executed without troubles. Further, this safety chain can use also as the health machinery.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a member excellent in wear resistance at a contact part subjected to impact or loads by vapor depositing an age hardening copper allay member having a prescribed shape with titanium nitride under specified conditions and forming a specified film thickness. CONSTITUTION:For example, an age hardening alloy consisting of a beryllium copper allay or the like is formed into a tool such as chisels, scrapers and cutting pliers. The main body 1 of the above tool is subjected to pretreatment such as alkali cleaning and is thereafter vapor-deposited with titanium nitride. As for the vapor-depositing conditions, the beryllium copper allay is subjected to age hardening at 300 to 500 deg.C for 2 to 10hr, and as the atmosphere of the above treatment, an vacuum one of about 10 Torr is preferably used. At this time, the thickness of the titanium nitride is regulated to 2 to 15mum, and a vapor-deposited film 2 having a required film thickness is formed at the tip part particularly subjected to loads. In this way, a safety tool for explosion proof use improved in the wear resistance of the contact part can be obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To execute the recovery of flexibility, and straightening of the torsion of a chain after compression working, by allowing the chain to pass through a movable roller guide for moving up and down and fixed roller guides placed before and behind said guide, and also, inclining the fixed roller guides in the directions opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:A chain 16 having no bendability, to which a compression working has been executed is allowed to pass through a movable roller guide 10 and two sets of fixed roller guides 12 placed before and behind said guide, while giving tension by a tensioner 34. Said movable roller guide 10 loosens said chain 16 and gives flexibility by allowing a slide 26 which has fixed said guide, to move up and down at a high speed by driving of a motor 18 through a crank 24, an eccentric shaft 23, etc. Also, by inclining a fitting plate 30 which has fitted said fixed roller guides 12, axis centers of said two pieces of fixed roller guides 12, 12 are inclined in the directions opposite to each other, on the surface parallel to the axis center of said movable roller guide 10. In such a way, a torsion of the chain 16 guided in peripheral grooves of both the roller guides 10, 12 is straightened.
