    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing freeze and disturbance of a moving picture caused in moving picture transmission by various reasons so as to enhance the visibility of the moving picture. SOLUTION: An imaging camera 1 transmits one picture comprising frame image data respectively to a frame image transmission section 21 and a contour image extract section 22 as the same image data. The frame image transmission section 21 transmits the received frame image data to a reception apparatus 4 through a transmission section 3 without any modification. The contour image extract section 22 receiving the frame image data converts the data into contour image data from which a contour is extracted by a two-dimensional edge detection method or the like, gives the converted data to a contour image transmission section 23, which transmits the data to the reception apparatus 4 via the transmission section 3. Frame image data including missing parts are transmitted to a frame image composite section 43 of the reception apparatus 4, wherein the frame image data including missing parts are composed with contour image data corresponding to the missing parts, the result is outputted from a frame image output section 44 to a moving picture reproducing section 5 as the frame image data whose defect is corrected, and a display section reproduces the resulting data.
