    • PURPOSE:To accurately detect the synchronizing point by shaping an AC by a filter, comparing by a comparator it with a zero cross, individually counting down positive and negative sides, and obtaining the time point when the initial value set by obtaining in advance by calculation becomes zero. CONSTITUTION:An AC signal is decreased by the voltage by a transformer 1, shaped by a filter 3, compared by a comparator 2 with a zero cross, the positive and negative side periods are respectively measured by down counters 4, 5 on the basis of a clock signal CK, the preset initial value is subtracted, and the time point when the value becomes zero is obtained as a synchronizing point. To obtain the initial value, the period T of an AC power source is obtained so that the output of the comparator converts from positive to negative or vice versa from the counter 4 or 5. Further, a delay time t1 is obtained by calculating from the circuit constant of the filter 3. The counted value corresponding to (T-t1) is calculated by a CPU6, and set as an initial value in the counter. In this manner, the delay due to the filter can be corrected to detect accurately the synchronizing point.
