CONSTITUTION:At the time of supplying used sand into a sand supplying chute 3 in the condition of rotating the rotary drum 5 by driving the motor 10, the fixed quantity of the used sand is supplied on around the bottom plate 5A of the rotary drum 5 from gap between an opening part 4 for dropping the sand and a cover member 14. The used sand is moved outerward by centrifugal force of the rotary drum 5 and further, piled up on the inner surface of an inclined peripheral wall 5B while being pushed by the centrifugal force and when this thickness is thicker than the gap between the inclined peripheral wall 5B and the roller 25, the roller 25 starts rotation by friction force with the used sand. Further, with the lapse of time, sand layer S is increased to more thicker and run over a weir 5C. Thereafter, the sand layer is kept to the fixed thickness almost equal to the width of the weir 5C.
