    • PURPOSE:To save labor and prevent quality of reaped rushes from deteriorating with a change in weather by providing a construction for changing reaped rushes from an erected posture thereof into a lodged posture, binding the rushes, enabling direct loading thereof onto a machine body and traveling the machine body. CONSTITUTION:A grass dividing mechanism (A) for rushes, a raising up mechanism (B) for the divided rushes and a plant foot reaping mechanism (D) for the raised up rushes are locally and concentratedly arranged at end positions displaced to either of left and right sides of a machine body 11. An action starting point (a) of an endless nipping and conveying belt 42 for providing a hanging posture after reaping thereof and conveying the rushes by a prescribed action length (L1) while elastically nipping the ear tip side of the rushes is faced to a position just after the raising up mechanism (B). An endless bundling conveying belt 67 for conveying the side of plant foot sides of rushes reaped with a reaping mechanism (D) by a prescribed action length (L2) and introducing the rushes into a binder 71 is installed in an arranged state extending nearly parallel to the nipping and conveying belt 42 viewed from the upper side of the machine body 11.

    • PURPOSE:To wash sticking sap away or suppress drying thereof simultaneously with grass dividing operation and prevent hardened sap from sticking to the surface of a grass dividing rotor and rushes from their being severely damaged by wetting the surface of the grass dividing rotor with water. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a grass dividing rotor 21 is wetted with water to wash sticking sap away or suppress drying thereof simultaneously with grass dividing operation. Thereby, hardened sap is not present on the surface of the grass dividing rotor. As a result, the rushes are prevented from their being severely damaged. Since grass is successively divided from the plant foot side of planted rushes to the stem tips with the rotating grass dividing rotor, contact points with the rushes in the rotating grass dividing rotor are moved from the lower to the upper sides with advance of the machine body. Accordingly, even if water is fed only to the lower part of the grass dividing rotor, the fed water spreads to the outer surface of the whole grass dividing rotor accompanying the rushes in the divided grass state.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a mulberry shoot harvester capable of harvesting a mulberry at an arbitrary height and enabling the harvesting of a fallen mulberry by guiding to the harvesting apparatus by constructing a scraping machine to be freely movable in vertical and lateral directions relative to the machine body. CONSTITUTION:When the machine height is to be changed in order to harvest a prescribed amount of mulberry having prescribed leaf quality especially from mulberry having unequal heights, the operation board 25 is operated from a driver's seat 23 of a machine body 4. Hydraulic jacks of machine-height controlling apparatuses 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b are stretched or contracted according to the situation and the mulberry is harvested with a harvesting apparatus 6 by driving the harvester while varying the machine height from time to time and stored on a load-carrying platform 24 of the machine body 4. When the control of ground height of a scraping apparatus 5 is necessary for example in the case of harvesting a mulberry fallen on the ground, a hydraulic jack 41 having a shaft end engaged with a connector 38 at the jack of a case 31 of the scraping machine 28a is actuated. The jack 41 is extended in the direction of the arrow (b) by this process. Since the supporting arm 27a is fixed to the driving apparatus 26 of the scraping machine, the scraping machine 28a is moved downward along the driving mechanism 36 to enable the harvesting and storage of mulberry in the similar manner as the above process.
