    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact member for electric connector having improved mechanical and electric performance.
      SOLUTION: The conductive contact member (1) for electric connector includes: a terminal part (2) configured to be mechanically and electrically connected to at least one conductor; a contact part (4) configured to contact with a mating contact part of a mating connector; a spring part (3) which supports the contact part elastically displaceable from a static position to a displacement position while electrically connecting the terminal part to the contact part; and a holding part (5) provided with a suction table (6) for suction head mounting. The holding part gives a stop part (5a) with which the spring part comes into contact in the static position. The spring part is apart from the suction table in the displacement position to improve mechanical and electric performance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector achieving reduced size. SOLUTION: The electrical connector includes a contact and an insulated housing in which a terminal receiving hole receiving the contact is formed. In the contact, a holding part holding the contact to the insulated housing, a contact part projecting from an opening of one surface of the terminal receiving hole, and an elastically deformable elastic deformation part connecting between the holding part and the contact part are formed. The elastic deformation part is formed in an approximate S-shape having a first curved part connected to the holding part and a second curved part connected to the contact part, and the first curved part of the elastic deformation part is provided with a penetration groove corresponding to a free end of the contact part. A mating electrical apparatus makes contact with the elastic deformation part to press and deform. By allowing the free end of the contact part to enter the penetration groove, the height of the contact can be reduced, so that reduced size in the electrical connector is advantageously achieved.
